A Day of Kindness at Torchy’s – Richmond, TX June 27, 2025 Today, I was simply looking for a place to eat when I noticed Torchy’s Tacos in Richmond. As I pulled up, a sign caught my eye—“Pets Welcome.” My heart smiled. It meant my sweet companion Messiah and I had just discovered a new place we could enjoy together. That small sign was the first of many blessings. When I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, genuine smile from Mariah—the kind of smile that instantly lifts your spirit. Then I noticed Amara, also smiling brightly. Their kindness was so real, so contagious. I felt peace. I felt joy. I thought to myself, “What a beautiful environment to be in.” While fixing my drink, another team member brought my food—and she was smiling too! It was as if the whole space radiated love. Not just service... hospitality. Not just a meal... an experience. As I made my way out, I saw a gentleman in a red shirt—I figured he must be the manager. I just had to say something. I told him how deeply blessed I felt by the energy and care shown by his team. That man was Christian Pike—and his spirit matched everything I had felt so far: warm, joyful, full of light. Without hesitation, he said, “One moment,” disappeared to the back, and returned with a gift certificate—a blessing I never expected. I was speechless. I had come with the heart to give, but here I was, receiving. As we spoke, I shared a little about Miracles R Real Outreach and the work we do in the community. Christian listened, smiled, and said something that took my breath away: “I want to bless your volunteers too.” I left Torchy’s today with more than a meal—I left filled with gratitude, love, and a renewed faith in kindness. And because love flows, I made my next stop at Advance Physical Therapy—and yes, they got blessed today too. Love. Kindness. Community. That’s everything. First off this location is always clean and friendly staff. Also the lady aslin is the best. She took care of with great customer service. I will be back. Oh and food is damn good.

The BEST DAMN TACO'S in Richmond, TX! We just started coming to this location. My kids love the Baja Shrimp Taco's, but not all the toppings. The staff is kind enough to customize the shrimp tacos for kids. We have a big crowd. I love how patient they are with us while ordering. THIS location is always CLEAN & the staff is eager to assist. ASHLEE is an amazing host! She did an excellent job going over the menu with us and specifying which items were vegetarian and which items had meat. Thank you for offering a space and clean environment for our family to dine!

David and the staff are exceptional with the quality and customer services. I also notice it is very clean and quick accommodating once items are put away. My family and I enjoy coming weekly not just for the food but for the atmosphere. Besides, they allow us to move the tables together because of how many people we bring ! Keep up the great work, so we can continue to come and enjoy the CHEESE!!!

Great baja shrimp tacos, bomb queso, and yummy frozen strawberry margaritas! Vicinte gave us great service and great drinks. My friend had steak fajitas and was delicious.

Torchy’s is always off the chain!! The food is made fresh and you can taste it! The staff is always kind and helpful! You can’t beat all their sauces and the seasonings they use!! All in all this is a definite GO TO place when you’re in the mood for Tacos! Their breakfast is amazing too!! Stop in and give them a try!!

Mr. Tristan is very professional. He always checks on me in the front lobby when I’m there. I’ve also witnessed him help other people with a positive attitude as well. Also I can always count on Sarina to make sure my order is correct and is made as I requested. Sarina has a positive attitude as well and helps ensure that the environment is clean, positive, and professional. I’ve been going to this location for a while now and can honestly say that the staff is always happy and professional and will continue to get my business for years to come.

Torchy’s Tacos in Richmond absolutely delivers when it comes to bold, unforgettable flavors. Every taco is packed with fresh ingredients, creative combinations, and just the right amount of spice. The quality and taste were on another level—each bite was a perfect balance of texture and flavor. While waiting for my food, I ordered an Old-Fashioned at the bar, and let me tell you, it was made to perfection. The bartender (Carliyah) clearly knew their craft, blending the right amount of bourbon, bitters, and citrus* for a smooth, well-balanced drink. Great food, great drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere—what more could you ask for? Highly recommend!
